Arsenal Women Manager Renee Slegers has been named the Barclays WSL Manager of the Month for March. The Gunners won all four of their WSL matches in March, starting March with a 4-3 comeback victory at home to West Ham, before beating Everton 3-1 away from home.
This was followed up by 4-0 wins against Liverpool at the Emirates and away at Crystal Palace. Slegers also won the award in February and December. Slegers’ stats since taking the interim role in October- before being appointed to the position permanently in January- are eye catching after a slow start to the season under Jonas Eidevall, who subsequently resigned.
