Kylian Mbappe is reportedly considering a free summer transfer to the Premier League.
The 2018 World Cup winner has just six months left on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and has so far refused to extend his stay.
According to some reports, if he were to leave France, he would join LaLiga leaders Real Madrid.
But according to The Times, a move to Spain seems uncertain as the 25-year-old was unimpressed by Real’s attempts to force him to sign a pre-contract.
Real are said to have given Mbappe a deadline of January 15 to agree terms for a summer transfer.
This has reportedly got on the former Monaco star’s nerves – he has told friends that Real will not decide his future for him.
Mbappe has reportedly rejected their proposal for now.
He is now considering a move to the Premier League as he reflects on his future.
Liverpool are known to admire the player, as the Merseysiders have been close to signing him in the past.
Mbappe revealed that he had talks with the Reds before joining PSG in 2017.
Meanwhile, he also revealed that he almost joined Arsenal. Mikel Arteta is known to want to strengthen his offense.
Mbappe was recently asked by French media if he had decided where he would play next season.
But he was tight-lipped about his future, saying: “No. I am very, very motivated for this year.
“It’s very important. As I said before, we have titles to go for and we have already won one.
“After that, I haven’t decided yet. I haven’t decided yet.”
Mbappe has been in deadly form again this season – scoring 22 goals in 23 games in all competitions.
